Jing Chen, female, born in August 1964, Professor, College of agricultural science and engineering. Used to be the vice dean of the College of Water Resources and Hydropower, and now the dean of the College of Agricultural Science and Engineering. Director of Institute of Rural Development, Hohai University, doctoral supervisor, excellent lecturer teacher of Hohai University.
Since 2001, she has presided over more than 40 projects including NSFC. A series of original achievements in the research of water resources management theory and rural water conservancy management system and mechanism was made. As the first author, she has published 40 papers and 4 monographs (including participation in editing) in important journals at home and abroad. Her research achievement The study on the development of water management in China was nominated for outstanding academic paper award of Japanese Agricultural Civil Society in 1999-2000. Research on irrigation system between China and Japan was awarded the research achievement award of Japan Agricultural Civil Society in 2002 (since there is no government award in Japan, the Academy Award is the highest award in such field). Research on Key Technologies of rural water conservancy modernization in coastal areas won the first prize of science and technology progress of Jiangsu Province in 2003. Water conservancy development mode of high-speed economic development area of Yangtze River Delta and Research on management system reform of small-scale rural water conservancy projects in Jiangsu Province respectively won the second and third prizes of Jiangsu Province Water Science and Technology Progress, respectively.
