Junzeng Xu, male, born in January 1980, professor and doctoral supervisor, the vice president of the Agricultural Science and Engineering College.
Obtained the doctoral degree in Agricultural Water and Soil Engineering of Hohai University in 2007, and promoted to Professor in 2014. Visiting scholar of Iowa State University and McGill University in Canada. He is also the vice president of Jiangsu Agricultural Engineering Society, the editorial board member of Irrigation Science, Water. He has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research on water-saving irrigation and its farmland ecological effect, farmland water transformation and its associated process, and sustainable irrigation theory. Three postdoctoral researchers, 17 doctoral students and 37 master students were instructed. He has presided over and undertaken more than 10 projects including NSFC, national key research and development projects, National Science and Technology Support Plan, Ministry of Water Resources Public Welfare projects, etc. He has participated in the compilation of two monographs and published 80 academic papers in domestic high-level journals, including 45 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. He won the first prize of China agricultural water saving science and technology award and the first prize of national science and technology progress award. He has been selected as the outstanding young backbone teacher program of Jiangsu “Qinglan program”, the third level of Jiangsu “333 plan” and the excellent scientific and technological innovation team (leader) of Jiangsu Universities.
