On the morning of November 24, 25 water-saving model design teams from Hohai University came to the competition venue for the preliminary competition of the water-saving model competition after nearly a month of active preparations.
This water-saving model making contest is organized by the School of Agricultural Science and Engineering, aiming to increase students’ understanding of water saving and raise students’ awareness of the importance of water saving. In a country like our country where per capita water is far below the world average, It is particularly necessary to hold such activities.
As the host’s opening remarks ended, a team of water-saving model teams stepped onto the stage one by one, combined with ppt and real model demonstrations, and shared their team’s whimsical ideas to the judges and audience. The contestants carried out beautiful, practical and innovative designs from aspects of life water saving, water saving in high water-consuming industries, wastewater recycling, seawater desalination, agricultural water saving, and water saving through energy saving. The judges and teachers also put forward some constructive opinions on the content of the students' defenses and physical demonstrations. The activity proceeded smoothly in such a harmonious and compact atmosphere. We believe that such a meaningful activity will enhance the friendship between the students, increase their understanding of professional knowledge, and help the students draw a more magnificent chapter in the water of Hohai people.
