Summer Practice |“Sheng Qi Lin Xiang” Investigate and survey on the revitalization of rural industry
From July 20th to July 28th, 2020, the three members of the Shengqilinxiang Research Group of Hohai University, Zhang Dong, Yang Yuqian, and Jiang Xiaopeng successfully completed the "Shengqilinxiang" rural industry revitalization survey. The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the “Rural Revitalization Strategy”, emphasizing that the problem of farmers in agriculture and rural areas is a fundamental issue related to the national economy and people's livelihood, and the resolution of the “three rural” issues must always be the top priority of the party's work. In response to the situation of rural development, the research team explored the revitalization of rural industries through investigations and interviews.
During the activity, members of the investigation team came to Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, and talked with the person in charge of a local plastic packaging factory. The person in charge of the plant introduced to the team the development and changes of the plant since the development of the rural revitalization strategy, and introduced the impact of the plant after the epidemic spread to the team based on the actual situation.
After a few days of survey work, the members of the survey team held regular online summary meetings, and each reported and shared practical results and findings.
The members compiled the activity statistics and found that, on the whole, the local industry development level tends to be in a better state. The disadvantage is that the basic planting and breeding industry is still the mainstay, and there are few new green industries. The latter is the local people. What you want to develop. Therefore, it is particularly important to introduce relevant policies to make people dare to think and do.In view of the actual local situation, the team came to the conclusion that it needs to focus on economic development. The local area needs to actively adjust the industrial structure to promote farmers to increase production and income. In addition, it is necessary to stabilize the backbone of the livestock breeding industry and promote the development of follow-up industries.
In addition, the members also discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the research team in this practice. The preliminary preparations for the survey were slightly insufficient, which led to some minor problems. However, each team member was dedicated to the practice of this time. They also insisted on issuing questionnaires at noon when the weather was hot and faced unexpected situations during the interview. Able to actively respond and contributed to this practice.
Through this research and practice, the team realized that in order to make farmers rich and become a new type of farmers, the joint efforts of cities and rural areas are needed, and the government's help is needed. There are still many problems in the vast rural areas where there are more than 900 million farmers. The government and all sectors of society need to work together to contribute to the rapid development of the rural economy and the overall improvement of the people's living standards.
